Then, Mrs Tan sold all her shares due to lack of money at RM1.50 per unit the following year. Calculate the value of her return on investment.​

Shares total price = 5250

25% dividend =  (5250 × 25)÷100 = 1312.5

 Add them       5250 + 1312.5 =  6562.5

Sold total price   = 3000 × 1.50 = 4500

To find return of invesment subtract

      6562.5 - 4500 =  2062.5
